It's a Love
Story
Juan and Danielle met in the summer of 2022 at an internship at BMW in South Carolina. A sweet friendship quickly grew into a beautiful relationship, with a love that is brave and wild.
I never saw you coming;
and I'll never be the same.
​When Danielle and Juan met, they were sophomores in college, studying at universities hundreds of miles apart. They decided to spend their summer in 2022 completing an internship at BMW. Unbeknownst to them, it was one of the best decisions they ever made.
They ate Chick-fil-a and played mini golf the first time they hung out together (Juan insists it was a date; Danielle insists it was not). The two became fast friends, and fell in love even faster. Their first date was on July 8, 2022, at a sushi restaurant in Greenville, SC (recommended to them by Danielle's future Maid of Honor), and of course, followed by ice cream (Danielle has a sweet tooth). That first sushi date began one of their favorite traditions, and they have celebrated every anniversary the same way. ​​
A month after their relationship began, Juan moved back to Cincinnati, Ohio, to continue pursuing both his Bachelors and Masters degrees, beginning their long distance relationship. Every 3-4 months, Juan would spend a semester in Ohio as a full-time student, and then he would return to South Carolina for another internship at BMW. Danielle remained in South Carolina, working at BMW full-time while completing her Bachelors. Despite the three years of long distance, the two only fell further in love with each other.
In March 2024, they welcomed a furry addition to their family, their beloved pup, Oliver (affectionately known as Ollie). Sweet but shy, Ollie has been a continuous source of joy - and boundless energy - in their lives.

Ollie has regretfully declined his invitation to the wedding due to his distaste for traveling, but would love to meet everyone someday.
In May 2025, Danielle and Juan's family joined him in Cincinnati to celebrate his graduation with his Bachelors and Masters degrees. Under the guise of taking graduation photos (and helped significantly by his future Best Man), Juan proposed in Eden Park. And of course, Danielle said yes! Within a few minutes of Juan's proposal, the sky opened up around them in beautiful rain, showering the couple with blessings in this new chapter of their lives. Now, they are excitedly planning their wedding, and their lives, together.
In October 2025, they began their first adventure and moved to Chicago! While the cold has been an adjustment, they've enjoyed exploring all their new city has to offer. They're always looking for new latte spots (Danielle's favorite), and are patiently waiting for the Chicago Bears to play the Seattle Seahawks (Juan's favorite football team).
